These people should be out of business; even the government postal system is faster and more reliable than they are. I have to use this loser of a company as the Veteran's Administration uses them to ship time sensitive medications. They were supposed to deliver it yesterday. Normally our route's driver would get here between 4-5pm but not yesterday - I gave up at 5:45 and he shows up at 5:52pm after we'd left.

I hate this company. I tried calling the company. I had a tracking #. I had the VA place my phone # on label - you know, idiot proof, or so I thought. UPS cares little for its customers. They say you have to be ready for them between 7am and 7pm, in other words, place my life on hold for a day so drivers can take it easy. I would never use ups to ship. FedEX or USPS all the way.

Package was shipped to the facility 2 hours away from me in Raleigh...then UPS turned around and sent it to freaking New Jersey!!! Not only one place in NJ...but two...now I guess they are going to turn around and send it back down to NC...Making a package that was due for delivery 8/25/16 be delivered on maybe 8/29/16.

Not to mention I received notice last week that a package was to be delivered that day, and the next day after no package was delivered the status changed to package not received.

They are the most incompetent company I have ever had to deal with!

Last one marked final delivery. Then they made one more attempt, again no sticker. Finally got a call saying they are returning it to sender, asking if I want it. Stickers said it would be held for 7 days before returning yet they are already about to ship it back. Go to the customer center to pick up. What a total mess. So many people waiting, many angry. People waiting for an hour then being told their package is not even there and trying to send the person away. Thankfully they had a couple people with brains who managed to figure out their package was there after all. I waited 45 min. for them to find my package even though the person I spoke to earlier said she would call and have them get the package ready. Used FedEx last week. was so simple and easy. UPS management. Take a look at what is happening. You're customer service and pretty much your entire delivery system is terrible.

Customer service says they were "finding the most efficient sorting facility" and it "didn't actually take two hours to make it there" but can't give me any more details. 12 hours in one city? Could have driven there and back twice in that amount of time to pick it up myself.

Brutal. Package had an origin scan at 1:05PM PDT on Friday August 19th via 2nd Day Air. It showed a delivery date of Tuesday August 23rd (normal and expected, as that is the end of the 3rd business...

Brutal. Package had an origin scan at 1:05PM PDT on Friday August 19th via 2nd Day Air. It showed a delivery date of Tuesday August 23rd (normal and expected, as that is the end of the 3rd business day). I checked the tracking today and the package that started in San Jose CA went to Oakland, then departed and arrived in Oakland again, then arrived again in San Jose, then departed San Jose and back to Oakland. Delivery has now updated to Thursday August 25. That is a full week later. I contacted UPS and they said the package was scanned after cutoff on the Friday it shipped. What a bunch of BS. Even if true (it was scanned at 1:05PM PDT) that means it was technically shipped Monday which would be Wednesday delivery, not Thursday and that is a huge stretch. Total clownshow they are running there.

Okay so this happens to me frequently. I live in a suburb and UPS will not deliver to my house unless they are "in the area". Now I will see a UPS drive up and down my street at least once a day. HOWEVER they will deliver my package to the post office who will then deliver the package.

Also I ordered something online on the 18th and it said it would be here on the 23rd of August. When i tracked the package it has arrived in the local UPS facility on the 19th and yet it sits and was not delivered early. WHY? why do you just hold the package....don't you think your customer who can see where the package is would think it would arrive a few days early? NO you just keep it and will still get it here late, because you cannot seem to drop off packages to my neighborhood. I now tell sellers to not use UPS because FUCK YOU and if your just going to send the package to the USPS then we will just cut your shitty services out and go with USPS or FedEx

You call the supplier they tell you it was just picked up and the online updates are wrong.

I have told shippers/suppliers Do Not Use UPS for anything that I order from you.
I have never had a prob with Fed_Ex, but they are weasely in other ways.

- A shipment from Apple Netherlands where Apple had put the wrong post code a few weeks ago. Looking up the post code from the city name on Google takes 10s. They posted on their tracking log that they were attempting to correct the address. 10 days later, nothing had progressed. They wrote that they had contacted me. That is a lie: no-one from UPS ever called me, sent an SMS, nor an email, nor anything like that. When I called to correct the post code, the customer representative refused to take it, saying I had to wait for a notice of passage and call back with that. They also said Apple had to correct the post code. When I contacted Apple, they were apologetic (which UPS never was), but said they could not correct the post code at that point, and that I had to contact UPS. Conclusion: UPS actively tried to delay the delivery of the parcel. They eventually delivered the parcel more than 2 weeks after it was sent, i.e. far slower than snail mail.

- A shipment from Amazon Prime, that I was supposed to receive yesterday. Got a notice from Amazon yesterday noon that there was a problem. I called. The rep says my name is not on the mail box. That is a lie. My name is on the mail box. My adresse even states the floor and door in the building. The rep said the delivery would be attempted again the same day. It was not. At the end of the day, tracking info says that the recipient name is incorrect. That is a lie: this the usual address in my Amazon account, that I have been using for month with no problem, including through UPS. I called back. I repeated my name and address. The rep took it. Now the tracking says "will deliver to alternate address". This is a lie. This is the exact same address. In any case, the new delivery is now scheduled for tomorrow. So if (at best) it succeeds tomorrow, my Amazon Prime delivery, supposed to happen in 24 hours, will have one in 3 days. Finally on this problem, I have now sent 4 emails to UPS through their customer support email form on their web site. The form promises an answer in 4 hours. No-one has answered me any of my email, 2 days later. Also again, they claimed they called me but was not available. This is a lie. They have my phone number, it is correct, and no-one from UPS ever called me.

In conclusion, UPS is a crooked company.

So glad I found this website. I know it won't make a difference but I want to leave a negative comment about UPS. UPS sucks because they are always offloading packages to be delivered by the postal service. Here's how it goes, every single time I order a package that is getting delivered UPS. The estimated date of delivery gets put in on the tracking page. I get excited on that day and come home, only to find my package hasn't been delivered. I check the tracking.... Nope, not being delivered by UPS, in transit to the post office. So I get it the next day, or sometimes the day after that. I'm not really sure why they can't deliver their own stuff. Very annoying. Fedex on the other hand, they typically deliver early (to my house anyways) and typically before noon. I will pay more money to use fedex because I know I will typically get 2-3 day shipping when I'm paying for 4-7 day shipping. Anyways, I just wanted to say....... UPS SUCKS!!!

UPS was supposed to deliver on Friday, so took the day off work to be home to sign for packages. By 5pm they had not shown up. Called Apple and they said to copy their signature waiver verbiage exactly and sign (no printer at home) and UPS would deliver. They came after 5:30pm and left a message they only accept a printed waiver. Called UPS customer service and was told they would deliver on Monday, with no time window given. NOT staying home for work4 another entire day to wait for UPS to deliver the package. As the rep kept repeating back what I was tell her NOT CORRECTLY, I asked to talk to a manager. Have now been on HOLD FOR OVER 43 MINUTES

And most of them are Hispanic. UPS loves the cheap employees but the service sucks. And the fact is that they are too big to do anything about. If a company ships you something and they use UPS you are screwed. We need a way to make a choice about service. I'd like to choose the USPS. I moved to Miami from Toronto a year ago and I had my parents ship out a total of 6 boxes I had packed with my personal belongings in it. They made it all the way down south with no issues. The five of the six boxes arrived in time. The driver tells me that my sixth box (total sum value of appx $14k) will be coming on the following business day (being Monday since my boxes got delivered Friday). Monday comes around and still nothing so I call Customer Service n they open an investigation. I called almost every single day for that whole month to keep track of the investigation. These customer reps literally read off a script given to them to stall you every time no matter what you say to them. Either theyll tell you something different and get your hopes up (but for all u know theyre b.sing to make u lay off for a while) or they dont know s***. I dont understand how every single rep can say something different when they are all trained to the same extent as each other.

Anyways, after 2 weeks of hustling to try to get in touch with the person in charge of the investigation, I finally got a call from Jennifer. She asked me for details of my contents (size, brands, colors etc) n mind you, my box was pretty unique because a) it had used clothes in it that I can describe and provide pictures for, b) i had Indian clothes from my wedding packed in zipper bags underneath n c) i packed a canvas collage with my pictures on it. So you just cant go wrong with identifying the box.

She gets the details off me n disappears for a week. Then she finally calls n tells me that so far they have found nothing. The box was last scanned physically in Jacksonville FL. According to tracking, it made it to Miami but never got physically scanned so there was no way of knowing if it really did get there or not. Luckily, I got a friend working at the hub where my pckg was allegedly being kept. He gave me the inside detail of what goes on in there. The packages in most trailers come damaged and broken. Which makes sense because the other 5 boxes were pretty beat up, but things were still intact except one frame that broke but whatever. He said that hes seen 80 lb pckgs sitting on 10 lb boxes in these trailers, boxes unorganized, just thrown around. More than likely, my box being a heavy 50 lb box is probably badly damaged. Damaged boxes are taken out of trailer n labelled n thrown aside. They dont scan it because if they do then theyre liable for the damages so they just take pictures n leave it on the side to sit there until further notice.

Now if the box is damaged but contents are in tact, theyll repackage it but in my case, its my lifes worth of clothes in there n theres no way of knowing whats missing n whats not. So acc to my friend, they'd rather pay u than release ur package to u for fear that there will be a lawsuit filed for missing items. They dont touch it, they dont repckg it. They let it sit there till 5 months r up n then theyll auction it. AND NO ONE WILL EVER ADMIT TO YOU THAT THEY HAD THE PACKAGE BUT IT WAS DAMAGED. Thats what p***** me off. Im willing to sign a waiver for the box n take it with me as is, but atleast tell me you have it. This Jennifer simply said they found 4 lost boxes n none of them r mine. I call bulls***. They lose thousands of packages on a daily n they only look in the lost n found section, not the damaged section. So the investigation is bogus. She makes a call from Virginia n relies on some incompetent lazy worker to tell her that he looked everywhere in that 25000 sq ft facility for that one box n couldnt find it. And she relays that info to me. No hard work done n im sitting here going into serious anxiety n depression thinking about it.

Now im trying to get in touch with Corporate n the media ..anyone who can help me get my box out. All 6 boxes came together in one trailer the whole way . I know my 6th box did too. They just never scanned it because it was damaged n no one will touch it so no one will know its there. Im lucky enough to atleast know that much. I feel bad for those who wont even get that far n will eventually quit after relying on those fools sitting at customer service to just tell them that their package disappeared into thin air. Ridiculous. Do not use UPS. They only try to save their a** n if it means compromising your property, they will do just that.

They've closed my case with absolutely no closure to me other than that they dont have it. When asked what couldve possibly happened, they blamed the CBP for mishandling labels on the box when it first arrived on the border. How ridiculous is that story? Theyll say anything but admit that they messed up. And being a person who suffers from anxiety and chronic depression, UPS has done nothing short of giving me grievances.

I just want my box back. No money can replace the emotional value of the contents in that box. My wedding dresses are in there and they were custom made from abroad. I am currently living on 2 months of clothes (some that I brought with me and others that I bought here). Im running out of options. Plz help me!

Insofar my partners have made the mistake of using UPS to send me my business materials 4 times now. Lost package twice, delivered to wrong address once and was successful on one occasion. Customer service has very poor English and one agent was nice enough to hang up on me when she didn't know what to do.
I really try my best not to use this service, as they are 100% certifiably and patently useless. 25% success rate. great job team!

Consider using Fedex, Purolator or a carrier pidgeon if you seek greater service and/or competence.

When I arrived at Lancaster UPS I was informed that driver had apparently "walked off the job" and did not return to the warehouse where UPS operated, or they could not find him. Claim against UPS will be filed in the amount of $3,283.00 because urgent one overnight delivery was never made and US manufacturing production line had to be shut down. This is third time UPS failed completely in delivery to our business where they have keycode to enter our UPS-designated-warehouse day or night. UPS said they needed pics of the unopened box with all the unopened stuff inside.... WTF!!! Can't see the damage until opened dumbasses... So I fedex'd them back ($64) and the original seller got them in 2 days in perfect (but already damaged) packed condition.... Fast forward to today.... I'd ordered something from a different company that used ups a week ago and was slated for delivery today.... Nothing $135 part $25 shipping and when I called ups they said oh it must be lost call the original company and have them overnight another part and they'll reimburse the company.... I ordered from Amazon for a piece of hardware I needed overnighted. I paid $3.99 for shipping. That next day I waited for the package which was slated to arrive anytime up to 8:00 pm. Its after 8 pm and I am watching TV waiting still... I check Amazon for delivery status at 8:50 PM. It says a delivery was attempted at 8:42 PM with "customer not available." I go to my door and there is the slip on the ground with an address scrawled for a nearby UPS Store to pick up the next day.

The next day I go to the UPS Store. A droll woman gets the box for me with no apology nothing. I called Amazon and got the shipping refunded with an additional $1.20 for an even $5.00. The lady was very nice and apologetic and told me they have tons of complaints from customers from UPS.

Monday came and after getting home I see a notice saying ups came.
I left a note for Tuesday morning asking to please leave the package or bring it to the UPS store 3 min away from my house. I came home to find a note saying "sorry I can't".
I called today and was told that they couldn't help me, this Asian lady spoke horrible English and when I asked to talk to a manager she said no. I called back and asked again to speak to a manager. I was put through to a supervisor, he told me the package is in fact in Concord and would call them for me to see if it's ready for pick up. After being on hold for a while he came back and said he can't reach them, try calling back in 1-2 hours. HELLO I HAVE A JOB AND THINGS TO DO!!!
SO here I am wondering what's happening!! Not only did they fail to deliver (come one ups, people have jobs like you in the day, most people aren't home to sign!!!), now I'm told I need to drive myself a 45 min drive with no traffic and with traffic, 3 hours. I need to drive from one side of the GTA to the other, right through toronto! Talk about a nightmare. To top it off, the pick up times are something pathetic like 9am-12 and 4:30- 7!!! Give me a break! So my option is either morning or evening rush hour. It would be nice if you lazy bastards stayed open over the lunch hour. I can then take off work at a decent time and drive mid day when there is less traffic.
Also it would be nice to know what the fees where before I bought this item. I guess that's partly the sellers fault, but he says he was not aware of this fee. Makes sense, why would he know what Canadian impost fees would be i guess? But the fact that I owe $177 or I can't get my package is a bit ridiculous. I feel extorted and robbed like they are holding my item hostage for money. Another thing is they don't take CASH!! The world runs on cash. I order things online all the time, I've been to other countries, rented hotel room, bought vehicles and much more WITH NO CREDIT CARD. I don't own one. I've gotten this far in life without one, now ups tells me I can't have my item until I pay BY CREDIT CARD!!!
So I now need to borrow a credit card just to pay for this surprise fee.
I will never order anything that is shipped by ups again. And if I'm forced to, I'll be meeting the delivery guy out front and taking my packages and closing the door in there face.

I was a pizza delivery person as a kid, they trusted me with hundreds of dollars in cash. I was a PIZZA DELIVERY KID and I was trusted. If you can't trust a ups monkey with taking cash, this company needs help. Tell me this, if you send a driver out with X amount of packages and there is X amount of cash due, at the end of the day if it's not there, obviously the ups driver put some in his pocket. I must be a detective or something to have figured that one out. So ups, why not just hold your drivers responsible instead of inconveniencing your PAYING customers?
I order things online multiple times a month. Never had an issue with FedEX or the post office.
My girlfriend is a waitress, they trust her with thousands of dollars a night. At the end of the night, if the receipts don't add up, SHE is responsible. It's pretty simple. Why can't ups figure it out?

This is for the same box, about 2.5 lbs, that I had delivered and was sending back for warranty work which only cost me $13.75 when I ordered it, which I paid for when ordering. The clerk said thats because the company had an account. Really??

I was supposed to receive a large package from UPS today, so I took the day off from work to wait for it. According to the UPS.com website, the package had been on the truck since 3:15 AM and was out for delivery. As of 11:30 PM, not only did the driver never show up with the package, but he didn't even bother to check it back in when he returned to the distribution center (if he returned). The tracking website still shows the item as being "out for delivery". This is the second time in a row this has happened. What is wrong with this company, that it cannot keep its commitments to its customers? Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. I will never again use UPS for my delivery needs, will avoid all vendors who do, and will advise as many others against it as I possibly can. Not that UPS cares, of course.

Redirected a package that was shipped next day air three days sooner than the supplier commitment. Since I was out of town when I redirected the package using My Choice® to a UPS Store. There was no update, no update, no update, then when I called in to check on my package, the call center agent told me the package HAD been delivered to my neighborhood store. That was bogus information (a lie), which I realized when I replayed the conversation after I hung up. I had asked which store my delivery went to, and the agent said, "the one you requested." I thought, she would have been able to give me that information IF she had a delivery scan. Of course she did not - she just had lied to get me off the phone. The last scan was Thursday afternoon AT EXACTLY THE SAME MOMENT I had called in with my request. Turns out they "guess scans" (something like interpolation based on scans before and after the questionable scan - I can't remember the special word that was used ...) - BUT the package return to the Hub and scan upon arrival at the hub was the last scan ever. The package has evidently been stolen. We spent Friday on the phone all day after they kept saying the "package was out with the driver" BUT it never showed being scanned out of the hub (departure scan). Today a lost package report was filed SIX DAYS AFTER the first delivery attempt. This hub has had thievery rings working as employees at least twice in the past. I guess they are back and now in possession of some extremely precious confidential information that may be used for identity theft in a few weeks or later. When you want you package delivered, use FEDEX. It was true 30 years ago, and it is true today.

I have had constant delays between sites and lost packages. When a customer pays for Next Day Air you expect a Next Day Air delivery. The last package shipped via Next Day Air and was lost in transit. Found it 5 days later and reshipped. When it arrived the package was damaged, it looked as if someone from UPS had ripped it open, stepped on it multiple times, and then shipped it out as-is. I paid $80 to have someone abuse the contents of the package and for it to arrive 7 days after shipment.

UPS allowed me to believe Saturday delivery was available to Paris via their online shipment tools, for a time critical delivery of football tickets for the Euro2016 final the next day.

I printed off the labels at great expense, hand dropped off the package and confirmed with the driver it would arrive on the Saturday.

On double checking the tracking number online ONLY at this point did i receive the advice Saturday delivery would not happen and it would be delivered on the Monday, the day after the final.

As a result I had to frantically track down the driver and vam to retrieve my package and actually had to fly myslef to Paris to deliver the tickets as UPS were incapable!

Currently trying to get back my expensive shipping costs but trying to get anywhere through the many barriers to online/phone UPS put in place to excuse themselves from customer service.

A terrible company and I will not make the mistaken of using them again - and will be recommending against friends and family doing the same.

UPS lost a $400 video card. I had to start the search process with them THREE times because each time I started it, they would CLOSE the case basically saying they couldn't find it. Once they closed the case less than an hour after I opened it, so how could they have even looked for the product? The website showed the last place the video card was located -- at one of their hubs -- before it mysteriously disappeared. They basically told me tough shit, we lost it and there is nothing you can do about it.

So I had no choice but to buy another expensive video card (XMAS gift for son) and then, about 60 days after my initial complaint, the first video card shows up at my front door - no update, no call, no info, no communication whatsoever. They UPS guy didn't stick around, he just threw it at the door and ran which sucked because I needed to return the card to the sender since I already had another one. So I contacted the vendor and was told that both video cards were past the 30 day return window and I was stuck with them since I accepted delivery from UPS.

Was brought to that store on June 29th and paid for 2nd day air so it would be there at 1030AM on July 1st. Checked with the law firm today and found out they had never received and the iship website had the same status as the day I sent it. Was on the phone with corporate UPS and told the storw I sent it from still has it. Then the cunt of a woman hung up on me when I tried to ask for more info. Called the store I sent it from and was told that a UPS driver had indeed picked it up. Then they go over with me the 8 business day process of doing a missing package investigation. Kept insisting that the package never even stayed overnight at his store. I tweeted @ups and they proceed to tell me they want to help and asked me to email help@ups.com. I went into great detail with them about my situation and how important it was that my package arrive at this lawyers office. Their response after I go over everything in detail as it happened and even the investigation process. "Call the UPS store you shipped your package through and have them set up an investigation". Seriously fuck these cunts. I never thought ill of UPS. Hell, I worked for them a couple of years back as a loader at one of their hubs. They are cancerous and need to be taken out of existence. This person I corresponded with wouldn't even answet my question of if my money order was still in the state of Texas. Hell, she even told me that it showed that my package was still at the UPS store I shipped it from. Even though the store claims ups has it. I sell a lot of sports cards on eBay and normally ship via USPS, today was a hectic day for me and I wasnt able to make it to the post office in the morning as I normally do. I had (1) sport card to ship out and was near a UPS store, and decided instead of driving across town, I would just ship the card out through UPS. I grabbed a bubble mailer off their rack, and filled out the address information.

I went to the front counter to finalize my transaction, and was greeted by a gentleman who clearly hated his job and had no desire to help me.

He typed in the address where the package was being sent, asked me the standard questions and then asked "how soon does this need to arrive to the destination?"

I asked for the least expensive method, that would include a tracking #. He typed in his computer and said" ground is the cheapest option and the package will arrive on Friday a week from today "

I was not thrilled with how long it was going to take, but I was already there so I asked how much is that option. He says $19.85! I had to ask him again, because I could not believe what I heard! He says $19.85 and it will be there next Friday.

I immediately said, THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS! The package weighs less than 4oz, and I ship 100's of cards a month at USPS for $2.83 each! His only reply was "do you want to ship it out or not?"

I paid for the bubble mailer, and walked out of the store and went to the post office.
UPS IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER RIPOFF AND CHARGES 700% MORE THAN THE POST OFFICE!
I will NEVER use them to ship ANYTHING!

Package was supposed to be delivered July 1. However, on June 30, I get an email saying that a derailment will delay my package. July 1, package is moving again, and only a couple hours away, but now won't be delivered until July 6, nearly an entire week late for no reason.

I've contacted several people from this miserable company, and not a single one of them knew anything about a derailment. Not even something as simple as where the incident occurred. If there was really a derailment, they would be gleefully giving you the information about it to cover their asses. Clearly, there was no real incident. They probably sent a truck to the wrong place and are hiding the error. Now, instead of trying to make things right and expedite the packages that were delayed, their response is "fuck it, we'll get them there at some point".

For myself, this is a parts order for a customer's car, who needs the parts in order to be able to pass state inspection. The complete and utter lack of competence from UPS is costing me money and not only my customer money, but her fucking car as well.

If you register my account/choice service from UPS website, they will start asking you for a signature for every of your deliveries (even though the sender doesn't require the signature). Then you will be directed to a webpage where a consent form can be signed, so that UPS can leave your deliveries at your door. By signing this consent form, you are assuming the responsibilities when the package get lost or stolen. Otherwise, they are not leaving the package. If this happens, you will need to go to their remote facility to pick up your order (local access point won't work for most of my packages, there are dimension and weight restrictions).

Another solution with My Choice is to pay extra to have the shipment redirect to other address (so it can be signed while you are not at home during daytime). I am surprised by how UPS set up this trap for their customer. And I want to emphasis that UPS, you are doing business, and you are not transferring your responsibilities to your customer.

the case is coming via ups and was ordered on the 23rd
the motherboard came via usps and arrived on the 28th
keep in mind both of these deliveries were only mabye 100 miles apart both on the other side of the country (united states)
i am still waiting for the case as of the 29th

i just find it irritating that they cant compete with their cheaper competitor

also i have had ups drivers refuse to deliver my package when i was home and just give me the notice to pick it up

Our kitchen sink literally broke so we are waiting on a replacement so we can have running water, drains etc. in the kitchen. Ordered new sink and Home Depot decides to send it overnight by UPS. Today when it was supposed to arrive, UPS shows it as just delayed, delivery to be rescheduled. Used live chat to try to locate it and turns out UPS has it but it was "left at a sorting facility in Atlanta". Too heavy for them to want to put on the truck? And I thought the USPS was bad...

I sent a package from Tijuana to Greenville, and i paid the express service so it could be delivered the next day...
Then i got this tracking message saying they made a mistake and they send it...

Then i got this tracking message saying they made a mistake and they send it to Ontario, and that delays the delivery at least a bussines day... then th e package is sent to Louisville and stays there the whole day, and a message appears on the top of ups page with an advice saying there is some very bad weather on lousivile causing delays... i got on the internet to check the weather and it was perfect.
Then my package appeared as HELD IN WAREHOUSE, its been 4 days since i sent the package....and now they tell me that status can stay like that from 30 to 60 days, i asked for a return and they told me they cant do that....
Nobody told me that when i sent the package.... first and last time i use UPS.

I asked a UPS employee whom I could complain to. "You can call the 800 number," he said. "But it won't do any good."

I have never heard of this kind of incompetence. To take a properly addressed package, then put the wrong address on it? And when I phone to ask them to look into this, they say they will. And nothing changes.

When did they become the worst? They make USPS look like Fed Ex.

Then the driver tells our mechanic that the packages get delivered to Clewiston and himself and another driver sort them, then deliver. Well if delivered to Clewiston first thing, why not run my early AM delivery to the site? So we end up paying a mechanic 6 hrs more for there LAZY, LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE business. Then I pay. Then I ordered a package 2nd day delivery, the same week for delivery by Friday 6/24/16 from Albany Ga. to Tampa Fl. now it is sitting in Jacksonville and customer service is telling me Monday, I asked them to deliver Saturday since it is there issue. Sir WE DON'T WORK SATURDAYS, UPS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS ALL USE FEDEX, HECK USPS IS FASTER THAN UPS!

Laughably, UPS is trying to spin this abuse-prone disaster of a policy as a convenience to recipients. In reality, this is a scheme for UPS to save money by limiting the number of delivery attempts while shifting the burden of completing deliveries onto recipients.

I pay over $20.00 shipping.........it gets to Lenexa, Kansas and disappears. I'm in Tulsa, Oklahoma and call UPS customer service (JOKE) and they ASSURE ME THE PACKAGE IS ON THE TRUCK AND WILL BE DELIVERED!!!!!

Package never shows up, so back to customer service (JOKE)..and they tell me that I HAVE TO FILE A MISSING PACKAGE CLAIM BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ARE NOT ABLE TO!!!!!

So, I file the claim, fill out the lengthy on line form and now they tell me there's a delivery exception ( no shit)....and still cannot find my package--between Lenexa, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma...

Now I wait for UPS to get off their dead, union backed ass and find this non replaceable part.

If they were only incompetent, I would understand, but they are also conning.

I was sent a package from the UK to my address in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the 7th of this month (June). The shipping was through UPS Express, and was actually expensive. They were supposed to deliver within three days, and now, 16 days later, I still got only half of my shipment!

First, the shipment made it to Germany and then Dubai and finally Riyadh all in three days; then it stopped. The moment the shipment landed in Riyadh, the status was updated to "The receiving business was closed." needless to say that I'm not a business and I was actually at home all day. I called customer service and was told not to worry, it's just routine. A routine to defend against claims, I would say.

Three days later, the status was updated to "incomplete address" which is not true. Even If they have doubts about the address, my phone number that the shipper provided to them is correct and they could have called, but they didn't.

I called again and was asked by customer service about my phone number so that they can deliver the shipment the next day! I gave him the number that he already has on record and two days later they delivered half of the shipment only (the shipment consists of two boxes and the one I received is labeled clearly "1 of 2"). Where is the other box? no one knows. They don't know where the f*** is my second box.

Now, to the conning part, to avoid any claims they changed the status to "The receiver requested this package to be held for collection at the UPS facility." which is of course a lie. I even went to the UPS facility and was told that they will call me when the package is ready for collection. And the wait continues. I kept sending emails to UPS support and got no replies until three days ago when I got this

Please be informed that UPS Management has been informed of your complaint, due to which they came to know that the shipment went missing inside the UPS Facility.
Today we came to know from the operations department that the shipment was found during the day and has been rescheduled for tomorrow’s delivery. It was very unfortunate that you had to face such inconveniences when using our services, we do apologize for the service failures that occurred and necessary actions have been taken against the concerned staff, involved with this shipment case.

If you have any issues in the near future please do not hesitate to contact us at any time during to following times.

1st shift - 10am to 6pm
2nd shift - 7pm to 1am.

They re-routed my parcel back to the states and then shipped it to my correct address. It then made it to Canada and has since been sitting about 5 hours away from my house for the last 5 days????? No updated tracking for the last 5 days and if the parcel can make it to the UK, back to the US and then back to Canada in 3 days, why is it sitting 5 hours away for the last 5 days???? I will never use UPS ever again. Their service and customer service is just simply unacceptable. Whats the point of paying extra for fast shipping when it still takes 2 weeks to receive the parcel?

I used to get ground shipments in a reasonable amount of time with adequate status updates. The last package I ordered from Phoenix, AR (to CT) has been "in transit" for 5.5 days w/o a single update. I ordered a duplicate birth certificate for my youngest son, and they selected UPS to deliver it, and charged me like $18 for the shipping. UPS needed a signature for the envelope, and it was addressed to my house, a residential address. The first attempt was at 10:20AM on a weekday. I was at work, so I came home to a nice attempted delivery notice stuck on my front door. I saw that I could sign the slip itself and leave it, allowing them to leave my package and use my signature on the slip, so I did that option. The very next day, attempted deliver at 11AM (I am still working in the day) and a second attempted delivery slip and a notice that I could NOT sign the slip for this one. I honestly thought that sure the UPS delivery guy would figure out from two previous middle of the day, middle of the week delivery attempts that I worked during the regular weekday hours, and make an attempt to deliver after 4:30PM. BTW- UPS delivers all my Amazon packages between 6PM and 8PM, but this particular envelope for whatever reason must be delivered between 10am and 2PM? So the final attempt was made at 2PM and I do not get home until 4:30pm, so I missed the final 3rd attempt, and had to drive an hour and a half round trip to their distribution center to pick it up. The customer service rep told me it was their policy and basically the fact that I can not be home during the day to get my package was NOT their problem! Great service.

UPS driver left a package in the rain instead of on my porch. Content damaged. Opened a claim, they did an inspection. Now they refuse to talk to me saying I have to take it up with the shipper. They are giving me the name of a company I never heard of with absolutely no contact information. One person finally said they paid the claim to the shipper and I have to get it from them, but again no contact information. This has been going on since October of 2015 and it is now June 2016. If they were going to suddenly tell me they can't deal directly with me then why did they let me open the claim and them do the inspection in the first place? The package was left in the rain by their driver. Why send the money to someone I have never heard of and then tell me to deal with them, and not provide any way to contact them? What a scam!

I had an order placed which should have been a 3 day delivery, and the next day I had tracking info saying it was out for delivery that day, then got delivered. I knew that was impossible. Turns out UPS took the package, brought it to their distribution center, and then shipped it BACK to the business I bought the product from. My address was the shipping address. I have no idea how it could've gotten so messed up. Then, my latest tracking number has said no information available for four days, and today it says, "Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed. / Delivery will be rescheduled." Oh lovely.

What is going on at UPS? In the last month I've had 2 deliveries that bounced back and forth around the country for weeks before being delivered. The first delivery (important medication) took 18 days to arrive. The trip it took on the tracking was unbelievable. The other delivery shipped next day on 6/5 still has not arrived in Boston. Tracking says it has gone from NY to Hartford, CT to Windsor Locks, CT to Watertown, MA to Northbrook, IL to Hodgkins, IL to Chelmsford, MA to Watertown, MA (again) and now has been in Louisville, KY for 2 days. Watertown is a mile from where I sit. It came to Watertown twice before being sent to IL and KY. What is going on?

I had purchased a product from a seller on EBay with the promise of free shipping. I attempted to track my package after about a week after I ordered, only to find that it should have been delivered already. Confused, I called their customer service and asked as to why I was package less. They replied that they had delivered the package, but no one answered, and due me engaging in the offer to sign in order to receive my package, they left a note and took my package back. They then told me that since no one came to retrieve it, they were sending it back. I was home every day the week they had supposedly delivered my product, so it seems unlikely that I wouldn't be aware of a driver knocking on my door. The before mentioned note was also never given to me. I told service this and they told me they could ship it to me the next day at around four. The next day at 4:30 pm, I'm still without a package. So I called and asked for the manager, who told me that my package wouldn't make it to me somewhere between 7 business days. What seems to have happened is that they had lost my package and didn't want to admit it to me. When I informed them I had told the seller of the misfortune of my package, they seemed shocked that I would communicate with the seller to inform them that it was not their fault I had not received my product, but Ups's instead. The seller seemed surprised, and promised me a new product free of charge that would be delivered to me via FedEx this time, to avoid further delays. So I have to add another week of waiting for my product to the nearly 2 I have already waited for. All of my deliveries will now be made through FedEx.

Our first package arrived 5 days after with no explanation as to why and no call back to let us know it will be delayed. I was the one constantly checking. To make matters worst. UPS CSR can't do anything but just send message to the dispatch center. They kept saying we will get a call back but nothing. To make matters worst I am the one constantly getting in trouble from my managers. They think I am not doing my job. Anyway, the tracking site is also pointless and their answering service because they tell you that the package will be delivered and transit is on time but it isn't. This is very misleading and pointless to me because how else can you trust what says there? I am angry at UPS and their unacceptable ways. It would be nice to have someone call you and advise you what is happening.

Even due to the "bad weather", it still made it to their depot at 4 AM, on Saturday, June 4th. For some odd reason, it didnt go out that day. To make things even worse, it didnt go out Monday either, nor did it go out Tuesday. I literally just watched the UPS truck drive by my house without stopping. My package has been sitting at their depot for three days and still hasnt gone out. What is up wih this bullshit UPS!?!?

Half way through a 7am to 7pm delivery slot UPS claim the address on the package is incorrect.

I phone the call centre up (for which I am charged) only to find out that they address the have is the correct one. We have UPS trucks coming along our street on a daily basis and they still can't find it.

Apparently when the call centre then sends a message to the local office and marks it urgent it will take the local office up to 1 hour to respond

This site is amazing! I am amazed to see how UPS is able to conduct business in the manner it does. I am infuriated by the fact many retailers, including Amazon use their shipping services. The fact they even call their customer service department "customer service" is a joke. Shipping delays are always an issue for me, they are slow, and more expensive. USPS is faster, cheaper, and they have adequate customer service.

I am currently trying to find out status on a delivery that was scheduled to be delivered last Friday, the 27th. At this point there is no update, or eta, or eta on an updated. I paid for expedited shipping that is now taking two weeks turn time. I understand the weather, I also understand customer service. I paid for services they are not able to provide, in where there should at the least be compensation for the amount of shipping I paid for, and a new price based on the longer shipping time with a subsequent credit being issued. Will they do this, not at all, they just repeat some scripted nonsense. The unfortunate part to this is that I was forced into using their services in the first place, by the retailer, who will ultimately have to pay the bill for UPS's shortcoming.

But, the package stayed in Tunisia for two days!!!!! Before it was sent back to Germany and from there, finally in Malta.

Oh, by the way, did I tell you that Tunis is less than 400km from Malta while the distance (aka the flight) Tunis -> Germany -> Malta is more than 3,000km!!!!!!!!

The buyer returned it to me and I filed a damage claim with UPS.

UPS came out and picked up the package for a damage inspection report at my local UPS facility.
Instead of filing a damage inspection report, UPS packed it up and sent it back to the person I sold it to..
After 2 weeks of trying to find out what was going on with my claim they said it was in a facility in California.
They then told me my package was damaged in transit.
Then they denied my claim telling me that the package was not sufficiently wrapped.
It was sent in the factory box with the factory Styrofoam inserts that completely encase the player.
This is what they use to send this player around the world in.
I have never seen such incompetence and such blatant mishandling of a valid claim.
Even though you insure your package you might not get paid if you use UPS.
Worst experience ever !!!

Even though UPS knows where the package will be and when it will be there, and that the customer has agreed to pay for it to be shipped to the correct address and has that address in the UPS system there is NOTHING you can do to get my package to me. The package has to sit at Buzz and Bee where it will never be picked up only to be sent back across the country, coming to me possibly a month late?

UPS attempted delivery while I was out running errands 1.5 hours before the four-hour delivery window opened, and then, rather than leaving the package, attempting delivery tomorrow, or taking the package to the UPS store (literally around the corner) they are taking the package to a shady liquor store/pharmacy hybrid several miles away because it is a "New UPS Access Point."

My problem has been with delivery of product ordered from Amazon. In 2 cases UPS has given bogus reasons for their failure to deliver, citing weather conditions or natural disaster. The actual reason is that our street has had an ongoing construction project which slows traffic in the area. All the same, a variety of other delivery vehicles get through to deliver product to a neighborhood café, USPS trucks drive through the area to complete mail deliveries, and FedEx seems able to manage; just not UPS. I contacted UPS and their solution? I should drive to one of their shipping point and pick up my "delivery"; a 40 mile round trip drive! When I objected to that they found a "closer" point--only a 20 mile round trip drive.

What the hell is that about? The package will be at this store's back room by the end of the driver's work day, but the guy there said I can't pick it up until 1:00PM on Monday?! This is a Friday as I write this, and the phone store that holds the package is open on Saturdays. Seriously, what the fuck UPS?!

Thankfully this problem only happens when they actually ship it to the correct address, and they sometimes ship it to the correct address when they don't lose my package entirely. Consequently, some low life opened the packaged and stole one of remaining 3 items in the box. I guess the low life had a heart and felt they were about to get caught so they ran off with what they could. So I called the merchant who delivered another item at no charge and contacted UPS. First they deliver three packages to the wrong address. I know this because as soon as I used the tracking numbers and saw they were "LEFT IN CAR PORT" I called customer service and reported I never received the packages. The supervisor of my area's driver was called and he said he would call me back the next day as soon as he talked with the driver and traced the gps location from where the packages were left.

Early the next week I received a call from this supervisor telling me the gps location was not my car port but the car port next door. He asked me to go try to retrieve the packages from my neighbors. I knocked on their doors and left notes and heard back from one of the two duplex residents who use that carport. No one had seen the packages and/or were willing to give them back. That Friday the driver stopped me as I was mowing my lawn and asked if I ever got the packages back. I told him I had not. He said he would try to retrieve them as well. Fast forward through two more weeks and I am suddenly getting calls from UPS with voicemails left stating that they see these packages were delivered to my address but did I have some type of trouble or complaint about the deliveries. I called back to clarify that they WERE NOT delivered to my address and yes, there is a problem with that. The very dense rude Package Delivery representative informed me there were no notes to that effect and he wonders what I want him to do about this. I replied I was only returning calls to correct the information that the packages were never delivered after being left at someone else's address. The response was a less than helpful "hmm I can see where you might feel that way". IM NOT TALKING ABOUT FEELINGS, just the simple FACT that UPS made the error, and are now basically harassing me about THEIR mistake. I will try to avoid their delivery at all costs. I can't believe in all of this process there was not even a SINGLE apology. The companies who sent me the packages are sending replacements. If I were a company using UPS I would be concerned about the complete lack of concern about actually delivering to the right address or doing anything about mistakes that they make.

I haven't budged from my spot all day just because I knew something like this would happen, but I was at least hoping I could catch the driver sneaking off after leaving a notice and not knocking. But nope - now they're not even attempting to make it to my place. They just claim they tried and don't even bother.

What is the point of a delivery company that never delivers my stuff? Now I either go a good hour out of my way for my stuff, after paying for delivery, or I now have to wait another two days for my stuff to arrive. Of course no matter how many times I complain to Amazon about UPS nothing ever changes.

The package was shipped from Columbus, GA to Atlanta,GA. It arrived in the Atlanta facility at midnight last night. It hasn't moved since then..... no scan .. nothing. Calling UBS.. they tell me to keep monitoring it. This has been going on since 11:30 this morning. The package contains medication that I needed to receive no later than noon. They totally could care less that they don't know where this package is.... But it hasn't been scanned and out for delivery.
The vendor sending this has a contract with UPS so won't use FedEx. This does not happen with FEDEX. I've had at least 6 incidents like this with UPS over the last year.

I have been waiting all day for my package, it has been out for delivery since 6am, my city isn't that big and the address is right by a UPS facility. Last time they delivered my package to the wrong address, refuse the investigate and told me to contact the shipper. The shipper never responded, paypal denied my claim and refused lift a finger to help me get in contact with the seller. The real punch line is that the package mysteriously appeared on our door step about month and half later, my guess is that the person that got it was out of town and dropped it off when they returned, but who knows. After inspecting the package I found there to be two labeles, a small one with my address misprinted and the big shilling label with all the correct information. Guess which label the driver read? Yup, the smallest label imaginable.

I now fear for my current package, as I do with all packages delivered by UPS. My prediction? They will claim a wrong address/no current resident home and scan it last minute, resulting in me calling customer service and demanding that they deliver my package immediately. So the usual UPS BS, I will shocked if the package is successfully delivered.

Being in Canada, and familiar with their extortionary brokerage fees, I elected to self clear the package myself, and pay the taxes to the CBSA directly.

The guy came to the house, I told him I am brokering myself and that he has to return the box to the depot. I asked him, "by the way, where is your depot?" His answer was "I don't know." Seriously? How does he find his way to work in the morning?

I paid the taxes at the closest CBSA office and they offered to fax the paperwork to ups for me. Unfortunately, ups did not give me a fax number. When I called, the agent said they didn't have one to give, and that someone would contact me in 24 hours.

Next morning, they call and give me a fax number. Really? It took 24 hours??

I fax in the CBSA forms. The agent I spoke with said the package would be delivered to me on Monday (it was Friday morning). Delaying me for that number on thursday made me miss a Friday delivery slot.

While all of this was taking place, the tracking information said "hold for pick up." I didn't request this. On Friday morning, I requested a Monday delivery. The agent I spoke with assured me it would be done. Saturday rolls around, and I check the tracking information. It stills says hold for pick up. Bastards.

I called them again. Their offices are closed on the weekends. Useless!

Monday morning (today), the tracking still says hold for pick up. I called and spoke.to "andrew" who told me there were no delivery notes on my file. The lying cunt on Friday didn't change anything! He adds "there is money owing on the package." No there isn't. I self cleared and paid the taxes. Deliver it tomorrow. He assured me it will be on a truck tomorrow morning. From 900 this morning to 330pm as I write this, the tracking.still says hold for pick up.

I have never dealt with such a dishonest company.

$100 USD to ship by ground, and they come back wanting another $75. When I do the brokering myself, they punish me by fucking me around for three business days.

I am NOT going to pay ups or any company an extra 75 bucks for the "privilige" of having them actually do the job I already paid them $100 USD to do.

UPS driver here and I can tell you that we are far from perfect. We do not load our own package cars, pre-loaders do it for us and they are human and prone to make mistakes like load a package in the wrong car. It's up to our management to decide if we attempt delivery that day or not in that case since we are highly paid for what we do and it may not be worth the time and money involved in paying a driver $25+/hr, wear and tear on a package car and fuel to deliver your package that was misloaded. It's nothing personal, it's simple business practice.

As for us leaving packages at your house, that is policy. We deliver hundreds of packages a day and it would take even longer for us to get your package to you if we had to get a signature for every delivery we make. The cost of shipping would go up and cause severe delays in getting your package since there's only so many drivers and package cars to go around. Not to mention DOT rules we strictly follow. If you're concerned about theft, you can talk to your driver or leave a note for them to have them to leave it at a more secure area or have it delivered to your work since we must get signatures for business deliveries.

I checked the UPS website this morning and at 6:30 am local it said that the package was on a van for delivery, and that delivery would be completed by the end of the day, today. At 6:30 pm today, I called up UPS customer service (the 1-800 number) to ask why the package still hadn't arrived. I also checked the website and it said that delivery had been (rather arbitrarily) rescheduled for the next business day, which is Monday. Customer service called the UPS center in Bremerton and told them to call my residence and explain to me why the package had not been delivered, and why delivery was rescheduled. The caller from the Bremerton center said "the package was put on the wrong truck" and that I could either come over tonight before 8 pm local and pick it up myself, which is a 20-mile drive,or wait until it was delivered Monday. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE GALL THIS PERSON HAD, suggesting that I resolve for them a problem which they created! I insisted that they find a way to get it to me today, because that is what I paid for, and I needed that part to complete a project over this weekend. The person I was talking to then HUNG UP on me. I used no "colorful language" , just an indignant tone on my part. In short, they were unwilling to resolve an issue that they created, to my satisfaction. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? This is POOR business practice, and this is also not the first time that UPS has done something similar to me. UPS SUCKS THE BIG ONE!

To the previous commenter...I feel your pain!! After 24 years in business here in Clearwater, FL, I had finally had enough of UPS and my UPS driver. I have switched all my deliveries with vendors I do business with, to Fed Ex Ground (Only one company wouldn't allow this, since they only ship UPS) . This solved so many issues....for one, I now get my deliveries early in the day, the boxes are in much better shape and the fed ex driver actually brings them inside for me, instead of pulling up front and honking his horn for me to come out and personally bring the boxes in. Yes, you heard me right....he would do this with every delivery, and if I was busy with a customer and unable to come outside to get my packages, he would leave and come back right before I closed for the day. Pure laziness on his part (I apparently spoiled him early on, as I would help him if I could...he came to expect it). On top of that, on 2 separate occasions I was shorted an expensive item that was NOT delivered, yet UPS said was signed for. I am sure that I signed for the boxes and didn't count them that day and so he kept the one left on the truck.That for me was the final straw. It has been over a year now, and I can't tell you how much happier I have been since switching to FedEx Ground! I stumbled on this website because I was just thinking how much money UPS has lost in the last year... just in my own case. I'm sure it's into the many thousands of dollars. We moved our office after 18 years with no real delivery problems at our former location. Now at our new location, packages regularly arrive damaged and disheveled. We contacted UPS and they said the supplier's boxes are hard to handle and therefore too bad for us. Funny how for the past 18 years the same boxes from the same supplier weren't hard to handle at all by the UPS driver we used to have. The UPS driver that delivers to our new location is the problem. The boxes (of copy paper) are dropped to the floor by him right in front of us! (He literally shoves them off of his wheel cart crashing them to the floor). And they are likely thrown about the truck before getting here too considering the horrible condition of the boxes when they arrive. The driver is obviously too weak to handle the freight but UPS clearly doesn't care about customer service so, too bad for us. That is what their customer service representative told us when we called for a resolution. They didn't even say they would talk to the driver or try to find a way to stop their company from damaging our product. Guess we'll have to buy from a different vendor who uses FedEx and see how that goes. It's amazing that one individual employee of such a large company has so much power and influence on the company's image. And I'll tell everyone that will listen that, it's not the big company UPS you are hiring when you set up deliveries, it's that one person in the brown clothes who you are hiring. For some reason UPS believes that everybody is at home during daytime watching TV eating bon-bon's and doesn't have a work to go to. And when they cannot enter the gate to the apartment building they don't try to contact you. No they send a text message that they couldn't enter and drive away. If UPS was already using their phone to text me, why the he** didn't they just call me?! So what do UPS do, they just make it simple for themselves and drive a way with the package to the AIRPORT! Yes, airports are far far away from inhabitants. And I call the phone number I receive in the text message immediately when I receive it, but they cannot find the parcel in their logistic system - just great. And they say, call tomorrow maybe we can find it then. And I did call the day after which was a Saturday. Oh yes the parcel was at the airport now - miles and miles away from where I live - but UPS has CLOSED in the weekends so I have to wait until Monday to drive miles and miles after my work to get my parcel. Companies and stores - do NOT use UPS to send merchandises to your customers. Delivery window did not end for a few hours so I called UPS and verified that my info was indeed correct and even matched what was in my 'MyUPS' account. They took my phone number and said they would let the driver know.

90 minutes later and still no call from them or package so I phone back and they say it was too late in the day to fix their own screw up so I should fuck off and wait for the package after the weekend where it can sit on my step all day on Monday. Terrible customer service.

As a former manager, I used FedEx for nearly 10 years for both business and personal shipping and never ONCE did they lose a package or exceed a promised shopping date/time. Rather than on the (top) left-side-corner: where the digits are now.

Fed-Ex has wider digits; higher. The digits are more in contrast to the white vans.
VS. the UPS digits that nearly match the color of the UPS vans.
Hence, the Fed-Ex co. has lesser to conceal.

When the passage of time proves them wrong, the next customer service representatives fabricates other details that conflict with the website (again), lie telling you the package will arrive 2 days later because "even tho' the website says the parcel was scanned into the facilities at 2 different cities the week before, the package REALLY didnt enter the facilities until 2 days after the website says it did. They chuck the packages not caring if they break anything United Package Smashers is what my friend who is a driver says they refer to themselves as. They constantly delay packages and if you ever see UPS Sure Post as the carrier, just don't buy it as it will take forever, multiple times it was lost at their facility for weeks and no one would trace it. They don't care at all about the recipient, just the shipper who has the account, so make sure to have it shipped another way or don't buy from them, UPS will smash, steal or at least delay your package. They even drive by my house and say they attempted delivery when they didn't, no notice left, we were home, but the driver is a lazy slob. DON'T BUY FROM SELLERS THAT SHIP UPS!

Mike King In an email yesterday from UPS, I was promised a call today by a manager regarding the status of my claim. Guess what....no call. Beginning to find this hilarious. No I really am. Never seen a company that cared so little about customers. The DMV even provides better customer service. Just about ready to fix my own garage door and turn this over to a starving lawyer. Also, sometimes they don't deliver the package because my name is not in the directory of residents, it's not like they deliver anyway! Tuesday I waited outside in the front yard. Then the big brown truck drove past my house. It didn't stop. My address was clearly on my house, I had checked the day before the address was correct. But the driver filed a statement, incorrect address.

I called in, no one called back, I got an email at 11:30PM, saying that I know had to drive 60miles to pickup my package.

UPS is shit. I received packagers from the postal service and FedEx without a problem. But UPS can't answer or phone or call back. Fuck you UPS.

I ended up sending my items back to the sellers who could not reship my items because they were now out of stock.

I will never use this service to ship anything if their company I deal with uses this service I will have them drop those items off at a single home or a business because they don't have the training in place to deliver to an apartment building or they are just too lazy to make an attempt or don't care.

The package came through Germany and was in a major parcel centre in Poland (I guess), some 300 km from Krakow (where I live). And straight after checking in in this Dobra, Strykow it got a failed delivery attempt. I have refreshed the page minutes after 8:00 am and the status was something like "According to plan, wait for your package to become ". But it never did. The failed attempt was at 8:12. So I am to believe that driver with my package was driving 300 km to deliver a parcel in bigger than 1 million people city? Where they have a transfer center? Or simply some people don't give a fuck anymore and decided it's useless to track my package. Fuck you, UPS, and fuck all those people who make up rules in this God forsaken company. I don't bear much grudge towards shithead driver who couldn't ring twice on the bell and left the paper message in bin for "spam" on the outside of the building, although fuck that driver, too. I am totally pissed off that the most expensive delivery company on the market is the worst at the same time. Other delivery men call before attempting delivery or when they fail. Quite few times I simply had to walk downstairs because something with the bell was fucked and I could get my parcel after a call. A lot of times I called my flatmates to take off their headphones and answer the door. On many occasions I told the guy "Yeah, sure, someone will be there" and everything went fine.

Fuck people in UPS who make their drivers deliver hundreds of packages on one day, making it impossible for them to pay enough attention.

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered by UPS today. I checked the status on their site this morning and it said 'Out For Delivery'. I got home tonight and no package. So, I check the status again and now it says 'In Transit'. My Next step was to get on live chat via there web site and ask what that meant and why. There answer was "the box was damaged so it needs to be re-wrapped, "Request notification and they will send you a message when it is available for delivery again". So naturally I asked them "So you trashed my box when it was on the truck for delivery? How does that happen?" There response was "It's only a box". To which mine was "Well if it's only a box then why didn't you just deliver it?". To which there answer was "Request notification and they will send you a message when it is available for delivery again".

So I didn't get any answers to any of my questions except for why wasn't it delivered and..... Now who knows when it will be delivered or in what condition. If you want to know the truth I think the driver was running late and he said screw it. Because really... How does a box get damaged on the truck. Through a shipping facility, OK, I get it. Lots of people and boxes getting flung everywhere and no accountability.... But once it's on the truck you know who trashed it.

The thing is if this was a one time irritation with UPS then I say no big deal. But I dread when I get stuff shipped from them. Sometimes a package will make it to the nearest major city from me and it will sit there for two days! It's a thirty minute drive! Or it will sit at the origination facility for two days.

Hey UPS guess what... Your going to go the way of KMART / Winn DIxie / Sears... etc Because if you don't change your business model to fit the customers needs then someone else will be there to make them happy and get their money. At this point I say good riddance!

UPS left a note, Apartment office closed so 1st delivery failed, fine...guess I could accept that answer again...Somehow Fed ex the same day was able to deliver a package of mine to the office though and well USPS seems to always come through for me and I got it too....
2nd attempt is going to be to a ups access point, a corner store that I have never heard of. Some of their access points are really horrible like I can't even google map the name of the place...but it is going to be somewhere inside a building based on the address they have given me. I only had two packages for ups to handle...and somehow the managed to fuck that up too. One package was successfully delivered to the access point, another package posted 2 minutes later somehow failed to be delivered to the access point. The damn tracking history only tells me that it was unsuccessful or no one was there to sign....but somehow the first package is there but not the 2nd..? I contacted ups using their live chat. Person told me that possibly they didn't have space available to store my 2nd package...! What Really!? I picked up my first package and the dude at the store just had it laying on the ground behind the counter, and you telling me there was no space. I can't do shit without my two packages! N they fucked it up on a FRIDAY!!! So guess what, fuck you I decided ya suck at delivering so I will just pick it up at your customer service store...On Monday!!! Already been delayed two days and now I gotta wait through the weekend for maybe a chance to pick up my last remaining package.

UPS completely sucks! AMAZON needs to quit using UPS and give their customers the ability to choose carriers. Hopefully UPS will lose enough business to shrivel up and go away so none of us has to endure their incompetence any longer. On more than one occasion I have had packages not delivered because the driver cannot find my address and lists it as incorrect. I quick search with Google maps or Apple maps and it comes right up. They apparently cannot trouble themselves to do a GPS search, so they return to the terminal and then in a few days may eventually get around to delivering my package. Is it because they cannot find my address or is it because the driver is tired and has decided to cut the route short for the evening and return to the terminal? Maybe it is because there is a new driver who isn't capable of complex tasks like driving to an address. UPS wisely doesn't have any way to reach the local center but rather a call center in Florida who has mastered the art of keeping you on hold for over an hour just to experience entry level contact center at its finest. Why even have anyone answer the phone at all? If they did have a local number, they would have to hear from all of the irate customers who have experienced similar issues. UPS only does one thing. You would think they would have figured out how to do it well by now.

Shipped a package to our customer. UPS lost package. We sent a new package to our customer. We make claim for lost package. After talking to half a dozen people at UPS, filling out and submitting...

Shipped a package to our customer. UPS lost package. We sent a new package to our customer. We make claim for lost package. After talking to half a dozen people at UPS, filling out and submitting forms over and over and over, UPS suddenly finds the package over a month later. Now to add insult to injury, UPS will not reimburse the shipping cost for the original shipping, they want to charge us for the return shipping back too. We have to literally pay for their mistake multiple times. So now we fully expect when we get the package back there will be items missing and/or severely damaged. Then if we make a damage claim they will just use their signature response: "Your claim has been denied due to improper packaging."

UPS SUCKS!

UPS has literally lost our packages over 10 times and all from different companies. We moved to a newly built neighborhood, and we could understand how packages were getting lost at first. However, FedEx and USPS quickly fixed the issue and we have received all ordered packages from fedex or usps. UPS claimed to have fixed the issue, but 1.5 years later, they continue to lose all the packages we order. They keep delivering it to a random person with a similar address to ours. This makes me very uncomfortable as most of the packages required a signature. Why are they not confirming the last name with the person signing?

They consistently fail when it comes to getting things delivered in a reasonable turn-around time. I hope a new competitor arrives to drive them out of business, I'm so sick of this shit.

Two packages were scheduled to be received by our business today. Suddenly their tracking shows they attempted delivery but we were not available. Found the driver outside and he reported they hadn't even loaded the truck with our packages because at 3am this morning UPS decided we were going to be closed for Good Friday. I wish. Now they can't release the package but won't tell me when they will deliver it. UPS sucks

I had a store ship my order from Washington state on Friday. UPS shows it was picked-up and scanned at Port Angeles, WA, then again at Port Townsend, WA later that evening. Then at 12:05 AM it...

I had a store ship my order from Washington state on Friday. UPS shows it was picked-up and scanned at Port Angeles, WA, then again at Port Townsend, WA later that evening. Then at 12:05 AM it arrive in Redmond, WA, then departed there (supposedly) at 3:13 AM. So far, so good. Then at 6:00 AM Saturday they posted the status "Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed. / Delivery will be rescheduled." WTF!!! My first thought was a storm in the northwest, but a quick look at a weather map showed there was no such problem.

By Tuesday morning it had the same status, so I contacted UPS via chat. I was told to contact the investigation division by phone, and was given the number. The woman I spoke to agreed that something wasn't right. At one point she said she would contact the location, but a few minutes later she said she would not be able to contact them (is this some rogue UPS site?) But she said if by Wednesday AM it wasn't moving I should contact UPS again.

So this morning I got on another chat session. The agent I got was most unhelpful. I gave them all the information. Then after a 5 minute wait, this was the response:

"I have checked the status of your shipment in our tracking system. Our records indicate that your shipment was temporarily delayed in-transit on 3/19/16 and that was because the package was mistakenly left behind at one of our UPS facilities.

The original schedule delivery date on the shipment based on the service Ground is 3/24/16.

UPS makes every effort to deliver every package as soon as possible, so an exception does not necessarily mean you will experience a delivery delay. However, I encourage you to continue tracking this shipment online to obtain the current status.

I responded that she did not answer my question, and asked to speak to a supervisor. After a long delay, he responded with "And I am sorry that my answer was not what you were looking for but I do not have any other answer on my system"

I said that I wanted an explanation as to why my package was sitting at the same location for 4 days. I said the package being left behind might explain a 1 day delay (especially when they realized that fact 3 hours after it was supposed to have departed, based on their status log.) But being left behind doesn't explain a 4 day delay.

I was told that a supervisor would call me within an hour, and I gave them my phone number. It has been well over 3 hours, and I haven't gotten a call. I also added that if the package was damaged (which is my theory at this point) then the should inform the shipper so he can enter a claim and ship me another item. If it's not due to the package being damaged or lost, then what else could it be? That they're just waiting to see how pissed-off they can make me?

99% of the time UPS works fine. But it's situations like this, combined with their "we don't give a *()$#^^ about your missing shipment, and won't make the slightest effort to help you" attitude that makes people hate UPS.

UPS sucks and I do not know why businesses use this for their delivery option. I got their notice, "Sorry we missed you..." (which really means sorry we are stupid and we miss you when you are just home all day). I live in a condo where there is a call box to get in and the UPS driver is either lazy to use the call box or stupid and does not know how to use a call box and just left the notice on the glass door (this only happens with UPS drivers and it happens all the time). The notice also stated that we will try again on the next weekday but when I checked the status online, they delivered it to a UPS Access Point location. Apparently, this UPS driver doesn't also know how to fill out a simple paper with check boxes.. I was so mad that I called the Customer Service and requested it to be redelivered as what they have stated in their notice. The Customer Service representative promised that it will delivered that day but no package arrived. I called again that night and of course, they promised again that they will redeliver today and it did not happen again. When I called today, the Customer Service representative said that it will be delivered tomorrow. Let us see how tomorrow goes or I might have another comment (more like a paragraph) to write on how this company sucks!!! It seems like everyone working in this company sucks!

They said I could drive 45 miles each way to pick it up! Will attempt redelivery in 2-3 days, and I will be out of town. Verizon authorized a Saturday delivery and they refused! I will NEVER EVER select UPS as my shipper. I spent 3 hours in phone calls between Verizon and UPS and they will not ship it overnight. They keep repeating the same thing... Go pick it up 45 miles away. F*** them!!!! They have the worst customer service I ve ever experienced and I m 45 years old!

And this ridiculous signature upon delivery is BS. What's the point of have access points if your drivers are too damn lazy to drive over two blocks to leave them there!?!? "It's the drivers discretion ma'am, they may not do it for you" yes leave it up to your staff that you pay to drive around as they please and whether they actually choose to walk up your stairs or not to deliver a package I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING FOR! It's my package, my money, and my time wasted waiting for your drivers. I'll ALWAYS avoid using UPS in future!! ALWAYS!!! Screw you UPS and your terrible systems.
